TOWPATH RACQUET CLUB, THE USTA NEOTA AND GAMESNAKE.COM CREATE TENNIS COMMUNITY FOR NORTHEAST OHIO

AKRON, OH - 06-1-2006 : Towpath Racquet Club, The United States Tennis Association Northeastern Ohio Tennis Association and GameSnake.com have teamed up to promote the game of tennis in Northeastern Ohio public parks. The http://www.GameSnake.com/tennis Web site serves as a community hub for parties interested in tennis instruction, public facility location, match play and competitive tournaments. In addition, the site highlights local high school, college and public players as well as provide recognition for area coaches and instructors.

GameSnake.com partner Andrew Holland states: "Tennis is a strange sport . . . like boxing, you only need one other participant to play. Like boxing, however, if you are not equally matched, it is not fun. Tennis players need a pool of similar talent in which to learn, compete and grow. In a recent Tennis Industry of America survey, behind lack of time, lapsed players cited lack of suitable playing partners as the number two reason that they did not continue to play tennis.

GameSnake.com understands that you may be interested in playing tennis, but as they say, it takes two to Tango and four to play doubles. Tennis players need a pool of players with similar talent, desire and goals to become a better player - recreational or tournament level. The GameSnake.com/tennis site is designed to help you find the right players to help you grow your game.

GameSnake.com currently has over 150 tennis players - male/female, beginner to tournament ability within 25 miles of downtown Akron. It is our goal to have 2,500 tennis players within 25 miles of Akron, OH by the end of Summer '06. In addition, we are actively seeking other communities that would like to grow the game of tennis in public parks and facilities. If you are interested in having GameSnake.com build a local tennis portal for your community, please contact Andrew Holland at info[at NO SPAM]gamesnake.com or call 330.777.2010.
